Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into a mixed family. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, while her mother was English. She went to The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an BA in acting. She was on stage in numerous productions during her time at school like the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Her popularity led her to play Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the title character in How to lose friends & betray people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. She has performed in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on The dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes prior to being cancelled on The CW. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons, the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to depart the series following a guest appearance in the premiere episode in the season's third. The actress portrayed Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. They've worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he had a role alongside her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's brothers were athletic and were avid baseball players during the summer months as well as hockey in winter. Ashley did not walk; instead, she was a dancer. At age two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dance when she was just a few years old. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and more. All of the major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the distinction of "top individualist".
