Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and a musician who works predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam film languages. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister works as an academic research assistant from Belgium and has a job in Leuven. Jeremiah was born in the vicinity of Chennai, was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea is a young girl who started with classical piano classes at the age of eight years old, was described as an "geek" and was aspired to become a psychiatric until the 12th grade exam. In her twenties, she became an active member of the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the beginning of her early recording and composing music career. Andrea began her career acting in the theatre, through Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She was featured in the 2006 tea commercial featuring Shiva. She also starred in a television series that was aired on Podhigai. The actress has appeared all over India. She had a small role on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to be one of his lead female characters on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was Kalyani an housewife, whose husband has had an affair. Her character was blackmailed. Andrea was cast in the part after Simran and Tabu both actresses were offered the role by the producers. The film was first released in 2010. It was announced in the beginning of 2011. play a minor supporting role in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which was released in August of the year 2011. She made her Malayalam film debut alongside Rajeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
