Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28 in 1967) is an American actress and singer. Wuhrer's career began as she was a teenager. Her most famous roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). She has three siblings. When she was in her teens, she performed at nightclubs in the dark, escaping from home. The actress studied acting since the age of 13 at the Wooster School. Later, she studied drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American model, actress, and singer. She took drama classes at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began performing as a teenager, and her first break on television coming in 1987's MTV Remote Control.
