Headley has also appeared in films The Preacher's Wife (1996) and Johnson Family Vacation (2004). Headley played Detective Mimi Reed on ABC's daytime soap opera All My Children from 1991-1994. Headley also starred as the main character of the Fox drama series 413 Hope St. (1997-1998) and received nominations for the NAACP Image Award as Outstanding Actress in Drama Series. Headley played the character of Jennifer Sallison, a villain in the Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap Opera The Haves and the Have Nots.
